SR. AGNES LAWRENCE CATALAN, SPC
Directress of Postulancy

Postulancy, the second stage of formation, lasts for one year. It is a period of adjustment and discernment in which the genuiness of the call is identified as far as possible. Specifically, the Postulancy aims at initiating the candidate into the lifestyle and work of the congregation, examining her aptitudes and motivations, and preparing her for the Novitiate. Lessons on Faith and Doctrine, History of the Congregation, Scriptures and Prayer and a two-month community exposure help concretize these goals.

MESSAGE
Sr. Zeta Caridad
Rivero, SPC

Every vocation involves a call and a response. God calls. We respond. Our dear New Postulants,
you are here today in response to that Divine call. As you sit here before me today,
I am sure so many things are going through your minds and hearts that I am led to wonder:
"What could I possibly share with you that could interest you enough and that would be most helpful
as you begin your initial formal journey into the religious life?"...
